The GFPD Parent Support Group is a space for parents of individuals with peroxisomal disorders in the Zellweger spectrum and the related single enzyme protein deficiencies to connect, share their experiences and provide/receive peer to peer support.

The GFPD Dad Group is a private space for dads of individuals with peroxisomal disorders in the Zellweger spectrum and the related single enzyme protein deficiencies.

The GFPD Adult Self Advocate Patient Support Group is a space for patients with peroxisomal disorders in the Zellweger spectrum and the related single enzyme protein deficiencies to connect, share their experiences, and provide/receive peer to peer support.
(For Extended Family only)
The Extended Family of the GFPD Support Group is a private space for extended family members of individuals who have peroxisomal disorders in the Zellweger spectrum and the related single enzyme protein deficiencies. Extended family members above the age of 18 years may use this space to connect, share their experiences, and provide/receive peer to peer support. ciencies, and their family.
The GFPD AMACR Deficiency Support Group is a space for individuals and parents of individuals with the peroxisomal disorder, AMACR (Alpha-Methylacyl-CoA Racemase) deficiency to connect, share their experiences and provide/receive peer to peer support.
The GFPD F2FC Group is a closed & private group for those who are currently participating in the GFPD Family-to-Family Communities (F2FC) Sessions. This group was created as a way for participants to maintain connections between members when the group is not meeting virtually.

The GFPD Sensing Connections Group is a closed & private group for those who have previously participated or are currently participating in the GFPD Sensing Connections facilitated sessions. This group was created as a way for participants to maintain connections between members when the group is not meeting virtually or in-person.

The Global Foundation for Peroxisomal Disorders Groups are private spaces for individuals impacted by Peroxisomal Disorder in the Zellweger spectrum and the related single enzyme protein deficiencies. We intend to foster a community of support, promoting mutual respect and understanding without judgment. The GFPD respects the diverse backgrounds, religious beliefs, and experiences of each of our families and requires all members of GFPD groups to treat fellow members with respect. Comments and opinions expressed through social media & other communication outlets by members of our community are those of the individual and may not be attributed to the GFPD, the Board of Directors, or the Medical & Scientific Advisors. The GFPD will not tolerate abusive or alienating speech and will act accordingly where necessary.
